Water Treatment Plants

Softners

Softeners are used to remove the hardness salt's like magnesium present in the water. The hardness of water is effectively reduce by exchanging the calcium and Sodium ions. Water is softened to commercially zero ppm.

DM Plants

We are the renowned manufacturer of DM water treatment plants which is used for demineralization of all dissolved impurities. These are sturdily designed to make them easily operable and compact in size. Apart from the standard size, these are also customized according to the clients approach.    

Demineralisation process is used to remove almost all the dissolved solids from the water. A demineraliser essentially consists of cation exchanger and anion exchanger.

The cation exchanger contains strongly acidic cation exchanger resin in 'H' form. When filtered water is passed through cation bed, the cations are retained by the resin and equal number of hydrogen ions are given to the water. When the resin is exhausted, it is regenerated by using hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid. The water from cation exchanger is passed through the anion exchanger.

The anion exchanger contains strong base anion exchanger resin in 'Hydroxyl (OH)' form. When the water is passed through anion bed, the anions are retained by the resin and equal number of Hydroxyl (OH) ions are given to the water. When the resin is exhausted, it is regenerated by using dilute solution of sodium hydroxide.

INDUSTRIAL REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM

We install industrial reverse osmosis systems which utilizes the effective RO technology.The major advantage of this system is that it can remove bacteria and virus as well as TDS content from contaminated water. This is also capable of rejecting bacteria, Sugar, Protein Particles and dyes.

Reverse Osmosis is used to purify water by removing excess salts and other impurities. The unique feature of RO technology is that it can remove the TDS content in water to very safe levels. It also removes bacteria and virus, resulting in perfect quality drinking water at par with national and international standards. RO technology is recognized worldwide as the most effective method of water purification.


Mineral Water Plant

Auto Online Disc Filteration


The distinctively developed disc filtration technology operates using thin, colorcoded polypropylene discs of a specific micron size. The discs ar e diagonally grooved on both sides, in opposit e directions. A series of discs ar e stacked and compressed on a specially designed spine.

EBS Automatic Screen Filter

Filtration Process:
The color coded micron sized filtration discs are stacked on the SpinKlin® spine and assembled according to predetermined water filtration requirements. During filtration, the discs are compressed by means of preloaded spring and differential pressure, forcing the water to pass through the grooved discs surface, thus trapping the solids.

Backwash Process:
Activated by a predefined time command or differential pressure, the system enters backwash mode. The inlet valve port shuts as the drain port opens. During the backwash process, pressure is released and the spine's piston rises, releasing the compression on the discs. Tangential jets of clean water are then forced through the nozzles positioned along the spine. At this stage the discs spin freely, loosening the trapped solids which are then flushed out.


How the EBS Filters Work

 


General
The Amiad EBS Series are automatic filters, with an electric self-cleaning mechanism.
The "EBS" filters range in flow-rates of up to 7200 m³/h (32000 US gpm), with screens designed ranging
from 800-10 micron filtration degree. Inlet/Outlet flanges are available from 8"-36" diameter.

The Filtering Process
Raw water enters from the filter inlet (1) and passes through the screen (2). Clean water flows through the filter outlet (3). The gradual dirt buildup on the inner screen surface causes a filter cake to develop, with a corresponding increase in the pressure differential across the screen. A pressure differential switch (4) senses the pressure differential and when it reaches a pre-set value, the cleaning process begins.

The Self-Cleaning Process Cleaning of the filter is carried out
by the suction scanner (5) which spirals across the screen, the open exhaust valves creates a high velocity suction stream at the nozzle tip which "vacuums" the filter cake from the screen. During the self-cleaning process, which takes approximately 30 seconds, filtered water continues to flow downstream.

The Control System
The "EBS" operation and cleaning cycle is controlled and monitored by a Programmable Logic Control (PLC). The PLC allows maximum flexibility in control options and has many features that can be incorporated per customer's needs. During the self-cleaning cycle the PLC controls a solenoid that operates the exhaust valve by means of a hydraulic command or compressed air. The self-cleaning cycle begins under any one of the following conditions:
1. Receiving a signal from the Pressure Differential Switch
2. Time interval parameter set at the control board
3. Manual Start

The control board also provides:
• Optional continuous flush mode
• Flush cycles counter
• Alarm output – may be used to open a bypass, shut-off a pump, etc.
