The high tensile strength Aramid fibers at the corners provide superb resistance to high pressures, abrasion & extrusion and the GFO fibers give good chemical resistance and sliding properties thus eliminating shaft scoring. The packing has high mechanical strength to resist abrasive & aggressive chemicals at higher shaft speeds and pressures also.
