Style 55 is a multi service packing and can be used plantwide for various applications. It is best used as anti extrusion rings since it has very high tensile strength and resiliency. The carbon fibre takes on the pressure and abrasive particles easily without breaking and the Graphite impregnation acts as a blocking agent to prevent any leak paths. Style 55 runs continuously without any heat buildup even in high temperatures and pressures.
